Fat Injection (or Fat Transfer) is a procedures where fat is taken from a certain part
of the body and injected to the desired location
lips, face, hand, toes, etc. For people in their twenties, we usually recommend
to put fat in their laugh lines and or lips.
This will smooth out the deep crevices.
In the thirties, we could fill the areas of
the cheek bones if so desired.
One other area in the face that fat can really help
is frown lines between the eyebrows.
In the forties and after we can do the above
plus injection of the fat to the corners of the mouth
plus or minus liposuction of the jowls, the neck,
and under the chin for people who have “double chin”.

Laugh Lines: This is one of
the most common areas that we inject in the face.
The triangular area that is just next to the nose,
if it is deep, can give the illusion that the person is
old. Usually
we inject the area with the laugh line that goes from
nostrils to the corner of the mouth.
Injections are made both parallel and perpendicular
to this line to give more support and better results.

Cheek Bones: For people who like a little fuller cheek
bones, we perform fat injection or other types of
filler. For
people who like to get even a fuller cheek bone look,

of the cheek area, can in fact improve the appearance
of the deep laugh lines and help with wrinkles in that
area. Keep in
mind that fullness should not make the face look fake or

eye is very important in terms of rejuvenation. The treatment of this area sometimes requires fat
removal, fat injection, skin removal, lid tightening,

Forehead and Frown lines:
Fat injection is usually injected with or without
Botox for this area of the face.
For prevention of the deepening of the lines or
wrinkles, Botox is used as a temporary treatment in this
area. For
people that already have a deep line between their
eyebrows, glabella, fat injection is a great way to
fill the line. Fat injection in the lines between the eyebrows along with
under the eyes, has given the best longer lasting
result than any other part of the face.

Lips: Yes, we can give your lips a better shape,
and a fuller look, and no, we will not make it too big and
fake. The lips are important features of your face.

Earlobes: This is an area that is usually ignored, but fat
injection to the ear lobe is an easy way to make the
ears look younger.
Fat injections to the ear lobes sometimes are
combined with ear lobe reduction or with repair
of the torn ear lobes.
Many patients report that they can put on their
ear rings much easier after this procedure.

Chin:
Some small chins can be improved with fat injection.
The lines under the lip and above the chin can be
injected with fat. The
marionette lines and corner of the mouth can also be injected

home themselves.

needles or don’t want to know or feel any pain, the local
anesthesia is given with IV sedation, twilight, or light
oral sedation.
The option of general anesthesia
is usually offered when fat injection is performed in
combination with other procedures like large area
liposuctions, face or neck lifts, or any other procedure that
general anesthesia is desired.
